There’s nothing like personalized instruction that’s tailored to your needs, which is why Pure Pickleball Club offers individual and small-group lessons with professional instructors so you can work on exactly what you want to learn.
Whether you’re just picking up a paddle for the first time or you’re already a seasoned pickler, a private 1-on-1 lesson with a professional instructor is the best way to learn quickly and take your game to the next level.
Semi-private lessons offer similarly personalized instruction as private lessons, but with greater accessibility, affordability, and the camaraderie that comes from a small group setting.
For high-level game play with a pro, consider a “Pro & 3” lesson – one professional instructor working with a group of three students. This gives you pro-level guidance and a chance to practice alongside a top-rated instructor to elevate your skills in a game setting.
Tommy was born in Champlin, Minnesota to two high school tennis coaches who had a racquet in his hand before he could walk! Tommy was President of the University of Kentucky Club Tennis team and competed in national competitions across the country. Tommy models his teaching style after his mom, Patty LaBat, who has been teaching for 45 years and is still a college tennis coach in Southern California. Tommy started teaching tennis at just 16, and when he graduated from UK in 2017 he picked up a pickleball paddle for the first time! Teaching pickleball came naturally to Tommy and he became certified as a PPR teaching pro in 2018. Tommy was still splitting time between tennis and pickleball between 2019-2023, when he decided to switch to pickleball completely and began competing in October 2023. Tommy is currently a 5.5 DUPR and has qualified in several pro main draws. Doubles and mixed doubles specialist, but has tournament winning experience in singles as well.
Pure Pickleball Club is proud to host pickleball pros who provide dedicated instruction for our lessons and clinics.
